Annika grew up in Virginia and got her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She joined the Sheldon Group in 2019. Annika enjoys martial arts, eating, animals and warm weather.

Boqin was born and grew up in Beijing, China. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Peking University in 2019. He joined the Sheldon group in October of 2019. In his spare time, he practices solving the Rubik’s cube and plays the piano.

June is from Seoul, South Korea. She received her B.S. in chemistry from Ewha Womans University in 2019. She joined the Sheldon group in the fall of 2020. She really likes living and studying in 'calm' College Station, more than Seoul. In her spare time, she likes to take a stroll, go shopping, and watch entertainment shows.

Giselle graduated from the University of Utah in the fall of 2020 with a B.S. in Chemistry. She joined the Sheldon group in the fall of 2021.

Josue was born and raised in southern California where he received a Bachelors of Science in chemistry with a minor in physics at the University of La Verne. He is currently doing research on perovskite nanocrystals after he joined the Sheldon group in the fall of 2022. On the free time he enjoys coding, cooking, hiking, playing piano, and listening to Jazz music.

Jon graduated from the William Paterson University in 2020 with a B.S. in Chemistry, and M.S in Materials Chemistry in 2022. He joined the Sheldon group in the fall of 2022. He is from New Jersey and his interests are programming and watching hockey!

Emma graduated from the University of California Merced in 2022 with a B.S. in chemistry. She joined the Sheldon lab in the fall of 2023. In her free time she enjoys painting, writing, and hiking.

Macy is from Taiwan and is currently an undergraduate student at the University of California Irvine. She enjoys playing the trumpet and collecting teddy bears.

Mohammad grew up in Kuwait. He’s a fourth year Chemical Engineering Student specializing in Materials Science. Mohammad joined the Sheldon Group in Fall 2024, working with Giselle on the perovskite nano rod project. In his free time, he enjoys working out, reading, and walking.
